Tailored scans aim to catch breast Cancer's return sooner

NCT ID NCT07426510

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized follow-up plan works better than the standard one-size-fits-all approach for breast cancer survivors. It will enroll 2,300 women who have had breast-conserving surgery and are at higher risk of the cancer coming back. The goal is to see if using more sensitive scans for high-risk patients helps find any returning cancer earlier, when it may be easier to treat.
