Brain-Zap timing tested to reboot Stroke-Damaged hand control

NCT ID NCT06533176

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized approach to brain stimulation to help improve hand movement in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will use a special cap to read a person's brain waves and deliver a magnetic pulse at the precise moment it might best strengthen the weakened connections for hand control. They are recruiting 37 people who had a stroke at least six months ago and still have some hand weakness, to see if this timed stimulation works better than standard, random stimulation.
