Scientists test personalized brain mapping to boost depression treatment
NCT ID NCT07287839
Summary
This study is testing whether a new, more precise method for targeting brain stimulation works better than the standard method for people with depression that hasn't improved with medication. Researchers will use MRI scans to create a personalized brain map for each participant to guide the stimulation. The goal is to see if this personalized approach leads to greater improvement in depression symptoms.
