New mapping tech aims to make heart rhythm treatments more precise

NCT ID NCT07320560

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, personalized mapping technique can improve catheter ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). Researchers will use non-invasive mapping to identify specific areas in the heart to target during the procedure, aiming to stop the irregular rhythm more effectively. They will compare this personalized approach to the standard ablation method in 45 patients to see if it leads to better long-term results and fewer complications.
