First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a new PET/CT scan using an investigational agent (GEH300079) to detect peritoneal carcinomatosis—cancer spread in the lining of the abdomen—in people with colorectal, gastric, ovarian, or pancreatic cancers. About 175 adults with known or suspected spread will receive the scan before planned surgery. The goal is to see if this scan is more accurate than standard imaging for finding cancer spread, which could help guide treatment decisions.
