New balloon treatment aims to keep leg arteries open

NCT ID NCT04776434

Summary

This study is collecting real-world information on a drug-coated balloon used to treat blocked arteries in the legs, a condition called Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). It will follow 723 patients for five years after their procedure to see how well the treatment works at keeping the arteries open and improving blood flow. The main goal is to see how many patients need a repeat procedure on the same artery within the first year.
