New balloon treatment could help people with leg pain from blocked arteries

Summary
This study is testing a special balloon coated with a drug (paclitaxel) to open blocked arteries in the legs. About 284 people with peripheral artery disease will receive this treatment during a standard procedure. The goal is to see if the balloon keeps arteries open longer and reduces the need for repeat treatments or major complications.
