New drug combo aims to control stomach cancer spread

Summary

This study tests whether giving the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel before and after stomach surgery can help control gastric cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. About 30 adults with this condition will receive the drug directly into the abdomen and through a vein, followed by surgery. The main goal is to check safety and side effects.
