First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early study tests a new type of dental implant designed to feel and move more like a natural tooth. Six adults who need a single tooth pulled will get the implant right away. Researchers will check if the implant bonds with the jawbone and if it can restore normal tooth movement and sensation over 48 weeks.
