Summary
This study tests whether using a pelvic wand for perineal massage during late pregnancy and labor helps women feel more in control during childbirth and improves pelvic recovery. About 140 pregnant women planning to give birth at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center will participate. The goal is to see if this simple technique can reduce injury, pain, and urinary problems after birth.
