New program aims to ease heartbreak for parents of critically ill newborns
NCT ID NCT06456034
Summary
This pilot study is testing a new support program for parents and their healthcare teams when a severe, life-limiting diagnosis is given for an unborn or newborn baby. The program aims to improve comfort for the baby and provide better emotional and practical support for grieving parents and the staff caring for them. Researchers will enroll about 20 families to see if this new approach is feasible and helpful compared to current standard care.
