First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether it is possible to run a larger trial that offers bereavement counselling to parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. About 26 parents will be randomly assigned to receive either standard hospital bereavement care or standard care plus counselling. Researchers will measure grief, distress, depression, and quality of life to see if counselling makes a difference.
