Summary

This study explores how depression during and after pregnancy influences how first-time mothers feed their babies. Researchers will follow 500 women from late pregnancy through 6 months after birth, using questionnaires to track mood, breastfeeding, and introduction of solid foods. The goal is to understand the two-way relationship between maternal depression and infant feeding practices.
