Wrist surgery showdown: big cut vs tiny scope – which is better?
NCT ID NCT05824078
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at two ways to fix a serious wrist injury called a perilunate injury. One method uses a larger cut (open surgery) and the other uses a tiny camera (arthroscopic surgery). The goal was to see which approach leads to less pain and better wrist movement. Only 9 people took part before the study was stopped early, so the results are very limited.
