First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a new type of mesh (RPM) against a standard collagen membrane for surgery to repair bone and gum damage around dental implants. About 32 adults with peri-implantitis will be treated and followed to see which material leads to better healing. The goal is to control the disease and improve implant health, not to cure it permanently.
