Dental implant infection study tests best time for surgery

Summary

This study tests whether delaying surgery to treat gum infection around dental implants (peri-implantitis) works better than doing it right away. Forty adults with infected implants will be randomly assigned to one of two surgical approaches. The goal is to see which method leads to better bone healing and patient satisfaction.
