First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at how cells change as gum tissue heals around dental implants. Researchers will take tiny tissue samples at different times after implant placement and use advanced technology to see which genes are active and how cells interact. The goal is to find key factors that could improve healing and prevent future infection. Five healthy adults who already have multiple implants will participate.
