NCT ID NCT06625151
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether giving university students personalized feedback about their daily stress and coping patterns can improve their well-being. About 200 perfectionistic students will be randomly assigned to receive one of two types of feedback, both, or none. The feedback is delivered in a single session and aims to help students understand and change unhelpful patterns. The goal is to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety and increase feelings of empowerment.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Personalized explanatory feedback intervention (behavioral)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, low-cost way to help perfectionistic students reduce stress and improve mood without medication.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with no blinding, so results may be influenced by placebo effects. The intervention is brief and may not work for everyone.
