New gel shows promise for healing diabetic foot sores

Summary
This study tested a gel called PEP-TISSEEL on diabetic foot ulcers. 59 adults with diabetes and shallow foot sores took part. The goal was to see if the gel helps wounds close safely within 12 weeks. Results will show if it speeds healing compared to standard care.
