First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a brain shunt surgery helps people with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH), a condition that causes trouble walking and thinking. About 100 adults aged 60 and older will either get the real surgery or a placebo procedure. The main goal is to see if walking speed improves after three months.
