Stretch before surgery: new study tests penile traction for better implant outcomes
NCT ID NCT07053826
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a penile traction device (RestoreX) for several weeks before getting a penile implant can increase the size of the implant and improve patient satisfaction. About 48 men with erectile dysfunction who are scheduled for implant surgery will be randomly assigned to use the device or not. The goal is to see if pre-surgery stretching leads to better length and sexual satisfaction after the procedure.
