First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests penfluridol, a drug originally used for mental health, in 33 adults with advanced small cell lung or cervical cancer that has not responded to at least two prior treatments. The goal is to find a safe weekly dose and see if it can shrink tumors. Penfluridol is taken by mouth and may work by blocking a specific signal that helps these cancer cells grow.
