New Hands-On therapy trial aims to ease dual burden of back pain and incontinence

NCT ID NCT07351851

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific hands-on therapy called Pelvic External Myofascial Mobilization (PEMM), combined with core exercises, can help women who suffer from both chronic low back pain and urinary incontinence. Researchers will compare this approach to standard pain treatment in 130 women to see which is better at reducing pain, improving daily function, and easing bladder symptoms. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage these often-connected conditions and improve quality of life.
