Summary
This phase 1 trial is testing whether adding the targeted drug pemigatinib after standard chemotherapy can help people with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Pemigatinib blocks a protein called FGFR that may fuel leukemia growth. The study will enroll 32 adults with intermediate- or high-risk AML to find the best dose and see if it improves remission rates.
