NCT ID NCT05500885
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) to standard rehab helps people with chronic ankle instability. About 40 adults with a history of ankle sprains and ongoing instability were split into two groups: one got real PEMF plus rehab, the other got a fake device plus rehab. Researchers measured balance, pain, and muscle function to see if PEMF provides extra benefit.
