Blood test guides cancer treatment to stop recurrence

Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing whether the drug pembrolizumab can prevent cancer from returning in people who have had surgery to remove a solid tumor but still have traces of tumor DNA in their blood. The trial involves about 17 participants who will receive the drug for up to 12 months. Researchers want to see if the treatment clears the tumor DNA from the blood and keeps the cancer from coming back.
