New drug duo before surgery shows promise against head and neck cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving two drugs (pembrolizumab and IO102-103) before surgery is safe and effective for people with head and neck cancer that can be removed. About 30 adults with newly diagnosed or returning cancer will receive the drugs and then have surgery. Researchers will watch for side effects and check how much the tumor shrinks after treatment.
