NCT ID NCT03430700
First seen May 20, 2026 ยท Last updated May 20, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab could help keep ovarian cancer from growing after initial chemotherapy. Twenty women with platinum-resistant ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer received weekly paclitaxel followed by pembrolizumab as maintenance therapy. The goal was to see if more than 16 out of 20 participants remained cancer-free for at least 6 months. The trial also studied how the immune system changes during treatment.
