New combo therapy aims to stop breast cancer return after failed chemo

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab to the chemotherapy drug capecitabine after surgery can help prevent triple-negative breast cancer from coming back. It is for people whose cancer still had some tumor left after initial chemo and immunotherapy. The trial will follow 220 participants for at least two years to see if the combination improves survival without the cancer returning.
