Virtual group chats vs. solo calls: which better prepares patients for surgery?
NCT ID NCT07471464
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to prepare patients for pelvic organ prolapse surgery by comparing two counseling methods. Researchers will see if patients feel more satisfied and prepared when they attend a virtual group session with other patients or when they have a standard one-on-one phone call with a nurse. About 106 patients scheduled for surgery will complete surveys before and after their procedure to measure their experience.
