First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if a gentle electrical current applied to the spine or nerves can reduce long-term pelvic pain. Sixty adults with pelvic pain for over a year will receive either real stimulation or a placebo (sham) treatment. Researchers will track pain levels using a simple 0-10 scale to see if the stimulation provides meaningful relief.
