New study tests which surgery works best for pelvic organ prolapse

Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for treating pelvic organ prolapse (when organs like the bladder or uterus slip down). 86 women with stage III or higher prolapse who haven't improved with other treatments will be randomly assigned to one of two surgeries. Researchers will check which surgery works better after one year, focusing on success rates and safety.
