New bone bolt may ease pain after pelvic fracture surgery

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of screw (Bone Bolt) works better than standard screws for fixing a specific kind of pelvic fracture (LC-1). The main goal is to see if patients have less pain after surgery. About 100 adults aged 18-80 who need surgery for this injury will take part. Researchers will measure pain using a standard 0-10 scale.
