Scientists map hidden changes in Mothers' bodies

NCT ID NCT07491224

Summary

This study aims to better understand how childbirth affects women's pelvic floor muscles using safe, non-invasive ultrasound scans. Researchers will compare 185 women who had vaginal deliveries with those who had C-sections to see how these different birth methods impact pelvic support. The findings could help improve future care for common postpartum issues like bladder control and pelvic discomfort.
