Simple exercises may speed up recovery for men after prostate surgery

NCT ID NCT07293442

Summary

This study is testing whether teaching men pelvic floor muscle exercises after prostate surgery helps them recover bladder control faster and improves their quality of life. Men scheduled for their first surgery for an enlarged prostate are randomly assigned to either learn the exercises or receive standard post-surgery care. Researchers will compare urinary symptoms, bladder function, and quality of life between the two groups over eight weeks to see if the exercises make a meaningful difference.
