First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tracks 200 women with breast or gynecological cancer to see how their cancer treatment affects bladder, bowel, and sexual function. Using questionnaires, researchers aim to identify when these problems start and what factors make them worse. The goal is to find ways to prevent or manage these side effects, improving quality of life during and after treatment.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could point toward better ways to prevent or treat pelvic floor problems in cancer patients, improving their quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it won't directly test any new therapy. Results may not lead to immediate changes in care.
