Tracking the long road back: how patients recover from devastating pelvic fractures
NCT ID NCT04615104
Summary
This study aims to map out the recovery journey for 200 people who have suffered serious fractures of the pelvis or hip socket (acetabulum). Researchers will follow patients over time, whether they had surgery or not, to understand how long it takes to return to work and normal activities, how pain and function change, and what factors lead to better or worse outcomes. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future care for these complex injuries.
