New hope for dialysis patients: drug trial targets anemia

Summary
This study tests a new drug called pegmolesatide to see if it can better control anemia in people with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. About 240 adults will be split into three groups to compare different treatment plans. The goal is to keep hemoglobin levels in a healthy range, which can improve energy and reduce complications.
