NCT ID NCT02921022

First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called PEGPH20 to standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel) and a blood thinner (rivaroxaban) can help shrink advanced pancreatic cancer. PEGPH20 breaks down a substance called hyaluronan, which is often found in large amounts in pancreatic tumors and may help them grow. The study includes about 110 adults with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Researchers are monitoring side effects, especially blood clots, and checking how well the treatment works.
