Trauma survivors get helping hand from those Who've been there
NCT ID NCT07275892
Summary
This study is testing whether a new peer support program can help people recovering from serious injuries like burns or amputations. The program connects survivors with others who have experienced similar trauma to provide emotional support throughout recovery. Researchers will check if the program is practical to run and acceptable to participants, while also looking at early signs of whether it helps with mental health and returning to normal life.
