Can 'Working out Dads' groups ease the strain of new fatherhood?
NCT ID NCT04813042
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-week group program helps fathers of young children manage mental health challenges like anxiety and depression. About 290 fathers in Australia will either join the 'Working Out Dads' peer support groups or receive standard care. The program combines group discussions with light exercise to see if it improves well-being more effectively than usual support services.
