Can peers pave the path to recovery from psychosis?
NCT ID NCT06487195
Summary
This study is testing whether a special program led by trained peers (people with similar lived experience) can help adults recovering from their first episode of psychosis. The program focuses on teaching self-management skills and fostering hope to improve long-term recovery and daily functioning. Researchers are comparing this peer-led approach to standard psychoeducation and usual care over 18 months to see which is most helpful.
