Summary
This study tests whether a peer-led program with group activities on food, exercise, and health awareness can improve heart and metabolic health in women aged 18-49 in Mbarara City, Uganda. Participants in the program will meet for three months and get follow-up calls, while a comparison group receives only a health booklet. The study measures waist size, blood pressure, cholesterol, and other health markers.
