Can local women lead their peers to better health? uganda study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07476716
Summary
This study aims to see if a 3-month program led by local women can help improve heart and metabolic health for other women in Mbarara City, Uganda. It will compare a group that attends weekly sessions on healthy eating and physical activity with a group that only receives a booklet of health tips. Researchers will measure changes in waist size, weight, blood pressure, and other health markers to see if the peer-led program works.
