Brain scans reveal how friends shape drinking decisions

NCT ID NCT06115252

Summary

This study aims to understand how young adults and their friends influence each other's health behaviors, specifically around alcohol use. Researchers will have participants and a friend complete a short health program and a brain scan, then track their drinking habits over a year. The goal is to learn if doing a program with a peer leads to different brain activity and behavior changes compared to doing it alone.
