NCT ID NCT07663981
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study examines whether education led by fellow students can improve anesthesia students' attitudes toward organ donation. Participants receive training through lectures, slides, brochures, and group discussions. Researchers measure changes in positive and negative attitudes using a standardized scale before, right after, and one month after the training.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
peer-led education on organ donation
What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could help increase organ donation rates by improving attitudes among future healthcare professionals.
What could go wrong
This is a small, single-center study with 46 participants, so results may not apply broadly. Attitude changes may not translate into actual donation behavior.
