Doctors get report cards to improve blood pressure care
NCT ID NCT05160012
Summary
This study is testing if a simple monthly message to primary care doctors, showing how their blood pressure control rates compare to their peers, leads to better patient care. The goal is to see if this 'nudge' encourages doctors to start or adjust medications more often for their patients with high blood pressure. The study involves 93 doctors and their patients at a Penn Medicine clinic.
