Extra support for families fighting eating disorders
NCT ID NCT05562258
Summary
This study is testing if adding a peer coach to standard therapy helps teens with eating disorders and their parents. For 12 weeks, families will get either coaching for the teen or the parent, plus educational materials for the other. Researchers want to see if this extra support helps teens feel more confident in recovery and reduces stress for parents.
