New plastic tooth caps for kids tested against traditional metal ones
NCT ID NCT06583759
Summary
This study is comparing two types of caps (crowns) used to treat large cavities in children's back baby teeth. Fifty children will receive either a new plastic (PEEK) crown made with computer design or a traditional stainless steel crown. Researchers will check how well each crown holds up, how the gums respond, and how satisfied families are over one year.
