Doctors test Quick-Fix breathing tube for kids in surgery

NCT ID NCT06449924

Summary

This study observed a simple technique for helping children breathe during surgery. Doctors placed a breathing tube just above the vocal cords instead of through them to see if it was an easy, safe, and effective way to provide oxygen. The study included 88 children under age 6 to measure how well the method worked and track any complications.
